Clean your pool with the pool sweeps
Swimming pools are awesome fun, aren’t they? Everyone loves having a swimming pool just to chill out and enjoy. Summers are times when swimming pools are used to the most in order to beat the scorching heat. But is just having a swimming pool enough? It might seem like great fun but a pool is high maintenance. You need to keep it clean and tidy or it may end up breeding all kinds of contaminants that can be very dangerous to your health. Cleaning your swimming pool is extremely important and you must do it with care.
There are many different cleaning devices available in the market today. You can choose the best ones according to your needs. You can go for pool sweeps to clean your pool. They are cleaners and are automatic. They are mainly used to clean in-ground pools. Essentially, there are three main types of pool sweeps – pressure cleaners, suction cleaners and robotic cleaners. Out of these three pool sweeps, it is up to you to analyze your needs and your budget to select the appropriate one.
Picking the best pool sweeps
If you are on a low budget, then the first type of pool sweeps, suction cleaners will be your best choice. Whenever you switch on your filter, these cleaners begin to operate and clean. They don’t require a pump and are thus less expensive. There are a few disadvantages though. One disadvantage is that the cleaning by suction cleaners is random and a few spots can be easily missed. Plus, when this cleaner operates, your skimmer will be suspended if you have only one.
If a lot of leaf debris collects in your pool all year round, then these pool sweeps will not work well. You will need the second type of pool sweeps; pressure cleaners. They will vacuum the pine needles, twigs, rocks and leaves easily. All the debris gets collected in a filter bag which is easy to remove and empty once it gets full. The size of the pool sweeps should depend on the size of the leaves. If the leaves are generally large, choose one with a large opening.
The pool sweeps must be chosen according to the surface of the pool. Take more care if your pool has a vinyl liner. Some pool sweeps will even scrub plaster and this can cause damage to your vinyl liner. The third type of pool sweeps; robotic cleaners can be used if you want an extremely clean pool. These pool sweeps will filter, vacuum and scrub. A robotic cleaner can be placed in the pool only when cleaning and thus, you don’t need to feel inconvenient all the time. They can be quite expensive though.
Choose the best pool sweeps accordingly.
